Sorry I am so late with my blog, but I have had a very busy day. Nothing exciting, it just started first thing in the morning. Tomorrow I will try to comment more on what happens with the primaries that are happening today.

On the Crochet Front I have finished nothing, but I have started a lot. I hope you like the pictures. First is the hippo I did for my great niece:

I want to let you know about a great knit and crochet community that I finally received my invitation to join. It is called Ravelry and can be found at http://www.ravelry.com/. It takes about 2 weeks to receive your invitation after you have requested to join, but it is worth the wait. There are so many groups to join and there is a place to show your stash, your books, your projects and your finished items. And you can learn just about anything you need to know about fiber craft. Go check out and join, and if you will let me know when their are enough of us on it, I will create a Granny's Hippie Threads group.

I am still knitting away and today I bought some sock yarn, needles and book and am going to cast on a pair of socks. It should at least be interesting. Here is a picture of my knitting so far:
